The Tancredo Neves Institute seeks and supports all initiatives that can be part of the fight against deforestation throughout Brazil. And with the right alliances, it can offer quick solutions to eradicate deforestation and generate income for the people and improve the HDI of any municipality in our country.
We know that today we suffer from all the waste disposal of solid waste, agricultural, urban and industrial, and even with all this management where most of the time it is thrown in the open air, or in landfills that even within their standards face challenges that each day bring more limitations, such as the decomposition of animals, food and the generation of gases and liquids such as leachate, which end up contaminating the soil and our air.
What can we do to eradicate or even reduce to zero a situation like this:
There are already technologies that combat all solid waste, and that transform it into important resources for our economy.
As an example: Let's talk about BIO-SYNTHETIC wood:
Biosynthetic wood can be used in civil construction, in various applications, such as in the manufacture of stairs, beams, linings, coverings, decks, facades, pergolas, fences and posts.
Advantages of biosynthetic wood
It is a sustainable alternative, as it is made from recycled plastic waste
It can be handled and worked like natural wood
It contributes to reducing deforestation, as it replaces the use of natural wood
It is an option for eco-entrepreneurs
Considerations on biosynthetic wood
Biosynthetic wood is 100% recyclable and can be returned to the production line to be reused Plastic wood, despite being resistant to moisture, has a shorter lifespan than hardwood
The appearance of plastic wood can be artificial, which may not please everyone FSC-certified wood is a reliable indicator of sustainable wood, ensuring responsible forest management practices.
Fun fact: The current market price of biosynthetic wood is R$189.00 m²
Have you ever thought about what we can do with all these benefits, and how much our mother nature would thank us?
